Bates Friends Forever

The Bates Woods Forest Management Plan was produced by Christopher Riely, a licensed Forester and founder of Sweet BIrch Consulting. The report was produced with the support of the USDA, Forest Service Urban and Community Forestry Planning Grant administered by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP). This report is the first step towards making Bates Woods healthier, more diverse and  more resilient to climate change.

 

Join us to hear all about the plan and learn how to help Bates Friends Forever implement is recommendations on Thursday, June 4th at 5:30 pm. We'll gather for dinner and then the presentation will start at 6pm in the Multipurpose Room at the Community Recreation Center in Fort Trumbull, New London.
